| MARSCO GLASS PRODUCTS, premier manufacturer of heat reflective
glass products, combines over 50 years of experience and dedication in research
and development to create an environment where Marsco engineers can challenge the
technical and thermal barriers which affect enhanced performance. The result of our
efforts is Heat-Barrier IITM, a unique coated glass that enables manufacturers of ranges
and ovens to block heat while allowing vision through glass oven windows without color
distortion. The coating is applied to both sides of soda lime or borosilicate glass to solve
today's stringent regulatory demands on appliance manufacturers for lower exterior
temperatures in oven doors.
HB-II coating drastically reduces the outer door temperature, and creates greater cooking
efficiency through heat containment. Outer door temperatures can be reduced up to 79° F
(650° C) when utilizing HB-II double-sided coating. The coating resists the deposition of
cooking vapors, creosote build-up, and scratching.
Heat-Barrier II
TM withstands interior oven temperatures as high as 1200° F (650° C).
Heat-Barrier II
TM accepts silk screening of decoratives.
MGP'S PRODUCTION PROCESS ENSURES PRODUCT INTEGRITY
1. MGP receives daily shipments of primary glass which are approved by the incoming QC
and staged for transfer to the production lines.
2. Individual glass sheets are loaded on to MGP's CNC cutting table, where the glass is automatically verified by part number to match customer's specs.
3. The glass is edged by diamond wheels to eliminate any potential future part failure, and is then washed and marked for accurate identification.
4. Inspected again and vertically hung, the glass proceeds
to the coating process. Once coated the glass is
tempered to provide durability and protection, then
inspected and boxed. The final auditor provides the
final inspection documentation prior to shipping.
DEDICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Marsco, the pioneer in heat barrier coated glass for oven
doors, was the first to develop and patent this cost-effective,
transparent glass coating process. The company produces
the highest quality glass coatings while remaining focused
on the demands for tomorrow.
